#SOULFULSUNDAYS – Janelle Monáe – PrimeTime ft. Miguel [Official Video]
Janelle Monáe – PrimeTime ft. Miguel Directed By: ALAN FERGUSON
PrimeTime is a love story based on the early adventures of Cindi Mayweather (Janelle Monáe) and her first love Joey Vice (Miguel.) The Emotion Picture gives a glimpse at Cindi’s humble beginnings as a “cyber-server” at the Electric Sheep nightclub, a syn bar serving high-class “show droids” to the rich and lonely in a dangerous section of Metropolis known as Slop City. Incidentally, the innovative cybersoul music played at the club directly impacted Cindi, and she began singing and performing her own innovative compositions a short time after quitting this assignment. In addition, Cindi became determined to change the public perception of what an electric lady could be, dream and aspire to after working in the dismal conditions at the club.

Rich Homie Quan says that Drake can still end up on "Type of Way's" offical remix
Rich Homie Quan says that Drake can still end up on "Type of Way's" offical remix, following Drizzy's comments about the song.
Drake has said that he regrets not being featured on Rich Homie Quan's "Type of Way," but he still has a chance to be on the official remix."We still haven't released the official remix, so it's not too late for Drake," Rich Homie Quan told MTV recently. "I'm gonna reach out to him and try to make this happen. I was just really surprised he even noticed the song and I'm just glad it's [to his liking.]"
Quan said that Drake isn't the only rapper he hopes to nab for the official "Type of Way" remix.
"I'd get other people on it also, because the song definitely went to another level and right now I'm feeling a different type of way about a lot of things," Quan said. "We've been trying to keep [the features] a secret because when it hits, it's gonna hit hard. It's partially done, but I'm gonna reach out to Drake and see if we can make some magic, [because] I've always been a fan of his."
Quan's says that he and Drake have spoke recently.
"I met Drake for the first time at Birthday Bash [Atlanta concert]," Quan said. "He embraced me with one of those real hugs, then he told me, 'Whatever you're doing, man, keep doing it. I came here early just to see 'Type of Way.' And I've always been a big fan of Drake. That's one of my major influences."
In July, Drake talked about "Type of Way."
"That record is the song of the summer," he told MTV. "I regret not getting on it, but I feel like now if I get on it, people are gonna be like, 'Ah man, you waited too long.'"

Gucci Mane Exposed.. Owes Money To Promoters??
Gucci Mane tried to pull a fast one and perform two gigs in one night --
in two different states -- so says the pissed off concert promoter,
who's suing the alleged two-timing rapper.
Empire Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Gucci -- real name Radric
Davis -- claiming it paid him $22,500 to perform in Little Rock,
Arkansas on November 22nd ... but didn't get their money's worth. Here's
why:
Empire says prior to the gig, a nightclub in Tennessee began advertising
a Gucci show for the same night -- and says Gucci himself promoted it
on Twitter.
Empire says it called Gucci's people -- who assured them, no TN gig was
happening. (TMZ)
But the night of the concert, Empire says it became clear Gucci's people lied ... claiming the rapper only performed 3 songs (15 min of stage time) and then hightailed it 138 miles to perform at the other club. Then drove back to stay in the hotel Empire provided. Empire says Gucci's 2nd gig torpedoed their ticket sales. The company is suing for breach of contract and fraud. It wants all the cash it spent on his fee, hotel, travel and promotions. (TMZ)

Sampha - Dual EP (Review)
Although he’s been producing since he was 13-years-old, Sampha is, so far, best known for his collaborations. The 24-year-old has worked with electronic icon Aaron Jerome, or SBTRKT; he’s produced and provided vocals for high-profile artists like Drake, on his track “The Motion.”
Now, Sampha is breaking away from the sidekick role to focus on his own material. Don’t be fooled—his latest project is nothing like his work with SBTRKT. Dual is an intensely intimate EP full of love, heartbreak and struggle. The opening track, “Demons,” lays down a raw tone that weaves throughout the EP’s six songs. The rough bedroom recording has Sampha ignoring a message on his answering machine, while his phone blows up with text messages in the background. Sampha’s vocals fade in and out as he laments, “Take all these demons and go.” The relaxed nature of the instrumentals somewhat masks the tension in Sampha’s lyrics. As calm keys and smooth beats patter in the background, Sampha reveals an inner struggle on tracks like “Beneath The Tree,” where he sings, “Don’t fail me now, I need your wishes/there’s a monster inside of there/but I’m going to keep it there,” and on “Indecision,” where he hesitantly repeats the phrase, “Let it all work out.”
Sampha’s material finds its footing in smooth piano melodies, with a slight overlay of ambient synths and stripped down drum beats. But of all the instruments he uses, Sampha’s most powerful tool is his voice. He carries a clean and soulful R&B croon that ebbs and flows with emotion, building in grandeur and sliding into soft whispers.
Despite the down-and-out nature of the EP’s content, Dual won’t leave you feeling low. Its subtle euphoria lies within the scope of Sampha’s soft melodies and refreshing instrumental work. Dual is an EP that feels like an LP. It’s lengthy in the sense that you could get trapped in Sampha’s world of cool harmonies for days. And, after several listens, you realize that might not be such a bad thing.

Action Bronson - Water Sports (Produced By Harry Fraud)
Action Bronson really deserves some respect. New York where you at. You all never support your artist. Here goes a cat from the NY with the New York sound and no support. But here we love Action Bronson. I bump him in the whip all the time. His last project that he did with Harry Fraud "Saaab Stories" honestly was a classic. Some of those lines are sick. But they arent done. Im sure they feel the buzz. Check out this new exclusive banger from these guys.
Fabolous - When I Feel Like It feat 2 Chainz

Sy Ari Da Kid - Versace Freestyle (North Atlanta Migos Diss)
Shots fired is all I can say. I guess if you know anything about atlanta. The northside of Atlanta still battles for respect. Now Migos sound is trap music But in this freestyle Sy Ari Da Kid sounds as he's questioning this Versace movement. I believe the first 30 seconds of the track is where I think shots have been fired. There are two different parts of the north. You have the Northeast which is Gwinnett and Athens. Then you have the Northwest which is Marietta and Sandy Springs. Either way it goes its still the North. But Sy Ari Da Kid is a spitter and Migos do have the streets. I think its just good publicity.. Check it out below!!!

Doe B - Monkey On My Back (Produced By Zaytoven)
Kevin Gates - Smiling Faces (Roll Up Banger)
Kevin Gates Put in work on his last mixtape. But far as everybody knowing him. All do respect to Pusha T. Kevin Gates actually decided to sell this project. The mix and master is well on this so i can respect it. Heavy production sounds as he worked with alot of atlanta producers. Good luck honestly . check out this banger "Smiling Faces" watch these snakes out here. Keep your grass cut!
Rich Gang - Dreams Come True feat Ace Hood, Mack Maine, Birdman, and Yo Gotti
Birdman really did put together a nice riding cd. I've been giving it that cosign. But with the song already banging and now the visual . This is a Dream Come True. Yo Gotti hood raspy deliver on the hook set the tone. Its like a dope boy visits the ghetto heaven on the hook. Then Ace Hood shows his development with the first verse with a nice for play and flow. Im not a fan of Mack Maine but he came thru with the truth so you cant knock that. And Baby( Birdman) comes in with the last verse with the mob touch. Basically money talk but for Birdman I can believe it. Check out the track your self . Dreams Come True!!!
Retro Sushi- Thirty Seven Thirty Two feat OJ Da Juiceman
Two 9's Retro Sushi has just hit worldstarhiphop.com with a banger. "Thirty Seven Thirty Two" brought back the A-town vet Oj Da Juiceman. The beat is a banger also. Reminds me of some early zaytoven. Thats why Oj dropped one of his best verses ever. Good to see the New Atlanta brace with the Old Atlanta

Rich Gang- Burn The House feat Detail (Banger)
Birdman rubbed his hands together and came up with magic. Thanks to artist/producer Detail. Rich Gang the album is a nice album. Birdman put together a project to sale. With most of the singles like "Tap Out" and "Dreams Come True" he knows the business. Their good singles for the radio and club. To me I would say Birdman is more like a DJ Khaled for this album. Check it out and give it a shot. Even tho its Birdman..Check out this banger below "Burn This House" feat Detail
Ace Hood: Trials & Tribulations Album Review
I must admit I was once a Ace Hood hater. With his new album "Trails & Tribulations" he showed his development. Ace Hood flow is nice and the production is all down south. But behind all the banging production and features. You really hear the kid spitting. Don't over look Ace Hood he has content behind his music. I guess sometimes I would just question his image. It would feel as he would just try to be cool instead of being the artist he is comfortable being. Now the music has arrived and he is balling with the major players. Support Ace Hood and check out his new album...
